Respiratory Therapist, RRT, Cardiopulmonary Services

Hospital in beautiful Gulf Coastal Florida is seeking strong Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Respiratory Therapist delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of a physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board, and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgement. Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight. Occasionally provides oversight of others. This is a very autonomous and fast paced work environment that allows the skilled therapist to utilize their knowledge for optimal patient outcomes.

Must be a graduate of AMA-approved program for RRT with Florida license. Must have BLS, prefer ACLS, and one year of experience working in a Trauma hospital.

Must have strong Interpersonal Skills * Respiratory Assessment/ Evaluation * Critical Thinking Skills (Determine at 6 Month Evaluation) * Neo/Pediatric Care Skills (Determine at 6 Month Evaluation) * Emergency & Adult Critical Care Skills (Determine at 6 Month Evaluation) * Airway Management Skills (Determine at 6 Month Evaluation)

* Must demonstrate sound clinical judgment, and written/verbal communication skills. * Must utilize and encourage team approach. * Must possess basic Windows application Skills * Excellent customer service
